As part of the 9th edition of the National Days of Architecture, under the theme “New life for buildings and new architectural practices”, LUMA Arles is organizing visits for all and creative workshops for children.
These activities will offer you the chance to:

discover or rediscover the rich history of the Parc des Ateliers ;

explore the diversity of architectural styles to be found in Arles;

imagine a building that will fit into the city of the future.

Parc des Ateliers: past and future (available in French only)
This tour explores how the Parc des Ateliers has evolved over time and which futures lie ahead. Now an experimental cultural center questioning the relationship between art, culture, the environment, human rights and research, LUMA Arles questions its heritage while developing an innovative way of looking at it.

« Les Petits Bâtisseurs » workshop
From the 8th floor of The Tower, children will be encouraged to observe the city and its various buildings. Then, as little architects, it will be their turn to imagine a building that would fit into a futuristic collaborative city.

This workshop is recommended for children aged 4 and over. Supervision by an adult required at all times.
