For its 41st edition, the European Heritage Days will be held on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, 2024, with the themes "The Heritage of Routes, Networks, and Connections" and "Maritime Heritage." On this occasion, LUMA Arles is offering two free activities related to this theme.
Workshop⎢Traversées éclairées (in French only)
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 september at 04:00 p.m. (duration of about 2 hours).
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, LUMA Arles is offering a creative workshop echoing the "Je n'attends plus" exhibition by South African artist William Kentridge, whose work tackles a wide range of themes, including the migration of peoples and crossings. A visit to the exhibition is followed by a creative workshop inspired by the artist's practices, exploring the themes of itinerary and journey.
Recommended age: for all ages 8 and up.

This tour invites you to (re)discover the Parc des Ateliers' railway past and its transformation over time into a creative campus that explores the relationship between art, culture, the environment, human rights and research
