As part of the exhibition Though it’s dark, still I sing: Works from the 34th Bienal de São Paulo, LUMA Arles and Atelier Saugrenu offer a workshop on dance and textiles in contemporary art.
This moment, conceived as a bodily experience in movement and color, revolves around the work of two artists in the exhibition: the Brazilian performer Hélio Oiticica and his “parangolés”, and the Israeli choreographer Noa Eshkol.
Children and adults are invited to compose their own costumes and stage themselves in space, exploring body language as a form of expression and emotion.
