Laurent Fonbaustier

Laurent Fonbaustier is an Associate Professor of Law, currently working at the University of Paris-Saclay. A specialist in the history of political ideas, he participated in the constitutionalization of environmental law (during a brief stint as project manager for the Environmental Charter at the Ministry of Ecology in 2004). A former member of the Environment Commission of the Club des Juristes, he is also co-head of the master’s program in environmental law at the University of Paris-Saclay, a member of various scientific committees related to the environment, and responsible for various columns in specialized legal journals. Since May 2016, he has been running the “Law, Science & Environment” collection published by Mare & Martin. His latest book, Environment, was published, in French, by Anamosa in January 2021.
