Philippe Rahm

Philippe Rahm is a Swiss architect who graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. He obtained a doctorate in architecture from the University of Paris-Saclay in 2019. The Philippe Rahm Architects office has been established in Paris since 2008. His work, which questions the boundaries of architecture with physiology and meteorology, has gained an international audience. Winner of numerous planning competitions (Taichung urban park in Taiwan, Maison de la Radio’s agora, rehabilitation of the Farini district in Milan), he was awarded the Silver Medal of the French Academy of Architecture in 2019. That same year, he curated the “Natural History of Architecture” exhibition at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris. His most recent books are Climate Papers and Natural History of Architecture.
