Axelle loves textiles, she is fascinated by the multitude of possible applications for clothing, everyday textiles, and even architecture. For her, textile is a way to bring together scientists, designers, and craftsmen.
During her studies and research, Axelle has developed a real knowledge of environmental impact. She has deconstructed preconceived ideas about recycling, biodegradable materials, the use of cotton... She was interested in all stages of textile production. A large-scale work which revealed, in her, a real passion for Research and Development.

Axelle Gisserot is a textile designer with a passion for materials, she mixes design and biology in her projects. Axelle specializes in textiles with a BTS in textile design at ENSAAMA, then continues her studies at ENSCI-les ateliers where she explores the eco-responsible aspect.
