Brenda Parker
Associate Professor of Sustainable Bioprocess Design
Dr Brenda Parker holds a MEng and PhD in Biochemical Engineering from University College London (UCL), UK. She is currently an Associate Professor of Sustainable Bioprocess Design Within the Department of Biochemical Engineering at UCL. Her work is highly interdisciplinary, bringing together the fields of biotechnology, sustainability and design. Her recent work has focussed on the use of microalgae for remediation of heavy metal pollution. Together with Professor Marcos Cruz, she directs two degrees, Bio-Integrated Design MSc/MArch, at the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL.
