Emmanuel Druon

Ecolonomist

After training in human sciences at the Sorbonne, Emmanuel Druon’s professional career took him to L’Oréal, Le Bourget and Kindy before he joined Pocheco in 1997. Here his job is to bring together the talents of about a hundred people at the service of a specific project: how to do business without destroying the environment. Pocheco produces a billion envelopes and 100 million zero waste bags per year, and Pocheco also produce ideas and vegetables with permaculture. The firm helps companies move towards the “ecolonomic” transition, at a galop, right across the world. The team ensures that Pocheco applies on site what has been recommended to its clients. The firm’s production is zero waste, zero fossil fuel, zero nuclear, zero plastic, and self-sufficient in electricity and water. 85% of the site is permeable and has been returned to its natural state. Emmanuel and his team give lectures and are the authors of three books recently published by Actes Sud, with two further works due to be published in September, again by Actes Sud.
