Giovanni Passerini
Giovanni first studied finance before turning to cooking. He began his career in a bistro in Rome before proving himself as second hand to Parisian chef Petter Nilsson at La Gazetta. In 2011, he opened his first establishment, Rino, and then Passerini in 2016. Crowned "best chef of the year" by the 2017 Fooding guide, Giovanni Passerini has not lost his desire to offer humble and simple dishes, far from the artifices of haute gastronomy. In 2019, his restaurant Passerini was named "Best Italian Restaurant in the World" by the Italian guide 50 Top Italy.
