Josèfa Ntjam is an artist. She develops a multidisciplinary practice, combining video, writing, installation, photomontage and performance. Interested in the idea of speculation, she has been developing for several years a work of fictions aiming at deconstructing the great narratives at the origin of hegemonic discourses on the notions of origin, identity, and race. Her work has been shown at the Hordaland Kunstsenter, Bergen, Norway; the 2019 Biennale de Lyon; Zentrale Pratteln, Basel, Switzerland; and the Palais de Tokyo Bétonsalon, Paris, among others.
