Thomas Keenan
Thomas Keenan teaches human rights, literature, and media theory at Bard College, where he is associate professor of comparative literature and director of the Human Rights Project. He is the author of Fables of Responsibility: Aberrations and Predicaments in Ethics and Politics (Stanford University Press, 1997) and Mengele’s Skull: The Advent of a Forensic Aesthetics, with Roger Berkowitz and Jeff Katz (Fordham University Press, 2009); New Media, Old Media: A History and Theory Reader, with Wendy Hui Kyong Chun (Routledge, 2005); and The End(s) of the Museum (Fundació Antoni Tàpies, 1996). Keenan has curated « Aid and Abet » at the Zoom Festival (Quebec, 2011) and « Antiphotojournalism, » with Carles Guerra, at La Virreina (Barcelona, 2010) and Foam (Amsterdam, 2011).
