Over the past 5 to 7 years, Egypt has seen extraordinary growth, particularly in the construction sector. In a country where 100 million people live, 20% of them in Cairo, new reforms and actions were essential to relieve the cities and particularly the capital. In this context, the start-up NilePreneurs was founded to encourage a revival of innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the country. Its main objective is to strengthen the Egyptian entrepreneurial ecosystem by helping young entrepreneurs acquire new skills and capabilities. In a territory that has an abundance of raw materials and waste, what are the challenges, opportunities and needs? Heba Labib introduces us to the innovations of the companies that NilePreneurs supports thanks to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
