Do I need to book a ticket in advance?
It is not mandatory to pre-book your visit, but it is recommended to facilitate visitor flow management. By purchasing tickets via the online ticketing service, there's no need to go to the ticket office, allowing direct access to the exhibition spaces.
How do I book my ticket?
To book your ticket, simply visit our online ticketing service. Following your booking, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your e-tickets.
What type of ticket can I book?
The entrance to The Tower designed by Frank Gehry, its panoramic terraces, the slides created by artist Carsten Höller, and all the artistic interventions by Rirkrit Tiravanija, Etel Adnan, Liam Gillick, Ólafur Elíasson, Helen Marten, Koo Jeong-A, Franz West and Kerstin Brätsch are free of charge, as is the Parc des Ateliers landscaped park.
Only the exhibition areas now require the purchase of an admission ticket.

I did not receive the confirmation email for my ticket reservation...

Do I have to print my ticket?
You have the choice of presenting your ticket on a smartphone or printing it out. In this case, your ticket can be printed in black and white or in colour.
What do I do if I have lost or damaged my printed ticket?
Loss of ticket purchased online:
Your ticket is accessible online at any time and valid for the day. You can reprint it via the link in the confirmation e-mail. You can also present your e-ticket on your smartphone.
Loss of ticket purchased on site:
Remember to keep your ticket. If you lose it, you will be asked to buy a new one.
Can I print my ticket as many times as I want?
Yes, but only the first person to present this ticket (including the electronic version on a smartphone) will be admitted. This person will be presumed to be the legitimate ticket holder.
Can I leave and then come back with my ticket?
The ticket allows for one entry per exhibition.
Only the annual pass gives unlimited access to the exhibitions.
Is it free for Arles residents?
LUMA Arles and its founder, Maja Hoffmann, have always wanted to involve Arles residents in the project. Residents of Arles are invited to apply for their free “carte expos”, personalized with a photo, giving them unlimited access to all exhibitions. To obtain your card, you'll need to make it on site, and provide proof of address less than 3 months old.
Is it free for jobseekers, people on minimum social benefits, MDA members, AICA members, French and foreign journalists on presentation of a press card, ICOM members? School groups and accompanying adults?
Free admission applies to the following groups: under 26 years old, People with disabilities and their companions, Recipients of RSA (Active Solidarity Income), ASPA (Solidarity Allowance for the Elderly), AAH (Disability Allowance for Adults), Job seekers, Press card holders, Tour guides, Members of MDA (Maison des Artistes),ICOM (International Council of Museums) members, Recipients of social minima benefits.
To benefit from reduced rates and free admission, please present proof of entitlement at the Parc des Ateliers.
Special rates apply to school groups and accompanying adults.
Is a family or group rate available? At what price?
A “Children & Co.” rate giving a discount for adults accompanied by children (from 1 child under 18 and up to 2 adults per family).
There is also a reduced rate for families with the “Familles nombreuses” card.
What are the rates for students and those under 26?
Access to the exhibitions is free for everyone under 26. Students over 26 can benefit from the reduced rate (€9 or €7 depending on the period). To take advantage of this, it is essential to provide proof on site.
Can a reduced-rate ticket be booked online? Will proof need to be presented at the reception?
All rates, whether full, reduced or free, can be booked online via the ticketing service. However, for reduced or free rates, you will need to show proof of entitlement at the Parc des Ateliers.
Only the “carte expos” for Arles residents can be obtained on site.
Is it possible to get an annual subscription?
Yes, an annual pass is offered at the price of €50.
It provides numerous benefits:
- Unlimited access to exhibitions
- Free guided tours
- Reduced rate for one accompanying person
- Reduced entry fee to the Vincent van Gogh Foundation
- 5% discount on books sold at the LUMA Arles bookstore, 10% on other items
The LUMA pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
If I only want to slide down the slide or see just one of the exhibitions, do I have to pay the same rate?
