From Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, 2026, LUMA Arles’ cultural guides and participants in its educational program will share a year of creations, research, and experimentation with the public.
Since 2015, LUMA Arles has developed an educational program that extends from the Parc des Ateliers to schools and community centers across Arles. From kindergarten through university, students explore themes connected to architecture, landscape, design, the environment, and LUMA Arles’ artistic program.
Each year, this collective work culminates in a public exhibition: a moment of presentation at the Parc des Ateliers where students share their ideas, projects, and creations.

Where Is Your Place in Nature? Putting Humanity Back Within Biodiversity
Launched in 2020, this educational project encouraged elementary school students to reflect on the relationship between humans and biodiversity.

Build Your City
Inspired by aerial views of Arles and The Parc des Ateliers, preschool and elementary school students came together to imagine the city of the future.
After a journey through the cities of yesterday and today, they stepped into the role of budding urban planners. Using colorful shapes and volumes, along with wooden figures, they gave full rein to their creativity: waterways, green spaces, public buildings, streets, and homes were imagined, built, and brought to life during the workshop, and are presented here today.
