Jean-Baptiste Fressoz
Jean-Baptiste Fressoz is a historian at the CNRS and the EHESS. He works on the history of the contemporary environmental crisis. He is the author of several books, including The Joyful Apocalypse. AHistory of Technological Risk, The Anthropocene Event. Earth, History, and Ourselves (with C. Bonneuil), and, more recently, The Revolts of the Sky. A History of Climate Change from the 15th to the 20th Century (with F. Locher). He is currently working on the history of energy and material symbioses in the 19th and 20th centuries.
