Visite commentée
Le Parc des Ateliers : d’hier à demain
Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, at 11:00 a.m.
This guided tour explores the Parc des Ateliers through the different chapters of its history. Once a Roman necropolis, then a railway workshop for building and repairing steam locomotives, and later an industrial wasteland, the site underwent many transformations before becoming the creative campus it is today.
Along the way, visitors discover the restored buildings of the Parc des Ateliers and trace their evolution over time, revealing the site's remarkable transformation from its industrial past to its present-day cultural role.
The tour concludes at Le Magasin Électrique, one of LUMA Arles' buildings, home to Atelier LUMA, a design research laboratory.
