Offprint Arles

Offprint brings together independent publishers, designers, artists, and editors whose practices shape contemporary publishing. Focused on experimental print practices and critical editorial approaches, it presents the book as a space where images, ideas, and research acquire form, sequence, and duration. In a context marked by the rapid circulation of digital images, Offprint foregrounds publishing as a material, collective, and reflective practice.

Through selected publications, presentations, and workshops, Offprint highlights publishing as both an artistic medium and a platform for thought. It gives visibility to the networks, methods, and communities that sustain independent printed matter, from artists’ books and magazines to experimental editions and research-based projects.

This summer, Offprint at LUMA Arles welcomes Atelier Quintal, a Paris-based printing and publishing workshop dedicated to risograph printing, whose public bookstore in the 20^th arrondissement extends its commitment to accessible, experimental publishing. At LUMA Arles, Offprint and Atelier Quintal create a meeting point for those who produce, question, and disseminate visual culture, affirming publishing as a living force within contemporary artistic practice.
