Realities of Science Fiction I explored recent developments in science fiction within the field of contemporary art. Over the course of a weekend, artists, writers, and researchers examined the emergence of science-fiction imaginaries and their potential to reshape our understanding of reality.
Drawing on the longstanding relationship between art and science fiction, the symposium brought together contemporary artistic practices and literary forms. It explored climate fiction, René Daumal’s Mount Analogue, and the Biosphere II experiment, while featuring talks by writers and philosophers including luvan, Federico Campagna, and Tristan Garcia.
