Realities of Science Fiction III

When does science fiction become a reality? How do artists work with Artificial Intelligence What forms of resistance can science fiction inspire? What can cyberpunk tell us about current technological developments?

Over the course of a weekend, artists, writers, researchers, and thinkers explored the intersections of science fiction, artificial intelligence, Afrofuturism, and alternative futurisms. Through critical perspectives on dominant narratives, they examined contemporary technological transformations and imagined new ways of understanding the world, drawing on cyberpunk, climate fiction, psychedelia, and emancipatory storytelling.
