    The “In Vivo” Exhibition and the Question of the Commons — École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie

    In the immediate aftermath of the lockdown, Caroline Bernard, Basile Le Cléac’h, and Adrien Julliard share their reflections on the “In Vivo” research and presentation process and the ENSP’s new building, while exploring a number of related topics: states of attentiveness, hospitality, disruptions to teaching and learning, the role of the artist, the virality of images, and more.

    This conversation highlights questions of the commons and care that lie at the heart of their concerns as citizens, artists, and educators: How can we reconnect with what is essential while embracing a different sense of time? How can we care for others while seeking to rethink the world and challenge established ways of doing things?
